Scarlett Embry

Scarlett is a 13 year old student in Austin, TX and completed her fifth year as a Camp Waziyatah "Wazi Otter" in summer of 2019.

Scarlett loves theatre, ballet, and singing. She trains in ballet multiple days per week and began weekly training with ZACH Theatre's PPC musical theatre program this school year.

With The Barton Hills Choir she has performed solos at Austin City Limits Festival, South by Southwest Festival, Eeyore's Birthday Party, and the Evanston Bluegrass Festival in Wyoming. Scarlett and her choir also joined The Flaming Lips live onstage at the Moody Theatre in 2017. 

In addition to some past work with The University of Texas Film School, Scarlett's short film, 'Battling Bullies', released earlier this year.  Scarlett is a past member of Ballet Austin's Academy and performed in 'The Nutcracker' with the professional company at The Long Center in 2017 and 2018.

In spring of 2019, Scarlett played the role of Dorothea in Paradox Players' production, 'Lying to the Sea Witch', an original musica/operetta by Kiya Heartwood, directed by Barbara Abbate.

In late 2019, Scarlett joins the cast of ZACH Theatre's 'A Christmas Carol' at ZACH's Topfer Stage.
